Eight o'Clock
Following dinner on Saturday the twenty-second, the company is asked to be seated in the front room. The television will be turned off. The delegation will compete.
The particulars of this year's contest have not yet been published. By standing custom the format is determined by the Master of the Revels, who has held the office since the founding and has never disclosed a rule in advance.
Delegates are advised that attendance is not optional and that the result is final. The Invitational is contested in teams and keeps no individual score; the honour recorded below is conferred, not won.
